Your 4-day Zanzibar adventure begins with a warm welcome at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport or Zanzibar Harbor. After a short transfer, check into your hotel in Stone Town.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided Stone Town walking tour. This maze-like historic city is a blend of Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European influences. Explore:
The House of Wonders – once the Sultan’s ceremonial palace.
The Old Slave Market & Anglican Cathedral – a sobering but important historical site.
The Sultan’s Palace Museum – showcasing royal artifacts.
Darajani Market – a bustling hub of spices, seafood, and daily life.
As the day ends, enjoy an optional sunset dhow cruise, gliding over the Indian Ocean as the sky turns golden. Overnight in Stone Town.
Day 2: Spice Plantation & Prison Island Adventure
After breakfast, set out for a spice farm experience. Walk through lush plantations filled with cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, and tropical fruits. Learn how spices are grown and harvested, taste fresh fruits, and see why Zanzibar is called the “Spice Island.”
In the afternoon, take a short boat ride to Prison Island (Changuu Island). Once used as a quarantine station, the island is now home to giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. You’ll also have time for snorkeling in turquoise waters, discovering colorful marine life before returning to Stone Town.
Overnight stay in Stone Town.
Day 3: Jozani Forest & Beach Transfer
After breakfast, head to the lush Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, Zanzibar’s only national park. Explore nature trails under towering mahogany trees and visit the mangrove boardwalks. The highlight is spotting the rare and friendly Red Colobus monkeys, found only in Zanzibar.
After the forest adventure, transfer to the northern beaches of Nungwi or Kendwa. These beaches are famous for their white sands, clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere. Spend the afternoon relaxing or join optional water activities such as snorkeling, diving, or sailing.
Overnight at a beachfront resort.

Spend your last morning soaking up the sun on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches. Enjoy swimming, beach walks, or optional excursions like:
A dolphin tour in Kizimkazi.
